Razzle and dazzle hazbin hotel9/27/2023 ![]() The radio tower has three neon arrows pointing at it while the tower itself sports a small "On Air" sign. The top right of the hotel sports a small radio tower, which serves as the office and living space for Alastor. Incorporated into the structure of the building itself is a carousel, remnants of Sir Pentious' airship, and a ship there is also a train with some tracks looping the first and second floor exterior. The building has a giant, bright pink sign with the hotel's name in lights. The Hazbin Hotel is at least ten stories tall, at least five appear to be guest floors. Most demons and even sinners deem the idea of reforming sinners as ridiculous and laughable. The majority of Hell's society possess an unfavorable view of the hotel, resulting in ongoing mockery and criticism from most of Hell's denizens, notably Lucifer Magne and Katie Killjoy, the latter of which actively uses her platform to spread false information about the establishment to further deter the denizens of Pride away from the hotel. It is possible for a patient to be removed from the hotel if they clearly have no intention of bettering themselves, as shown when Death was eventually expelled from the hotel when it was clear that he had no intention of reforming himself, despite Charlie giving him multiple chances to behave himself. While anyone is welcome to the hotel no matter the severity of their crimes, it is required that all who check into the hotel actually put effort into redeeming themselves, rather than simply leech off of the hotel's charity. ![]() All group activities, including yoga, movies nights, and games are designed to encourage good behavior and ignite friendships between the patients, and well-behaved patients are rewarded with candy, stickers, hugs, or treats such as cupcakes. ![]() Each patient is given a schedule which includes breakfast, group activities, therapy sessions, free time, and a bedtime. Any patient who breaks these rules despite repeated warnings are punished by being grounded in their rooms for up to several days and given more hours to their therapy sessions. Patients are also judged on their activities outside of the hotel, as they represent the hotel as a whole. In addition, although the hotel does have a bar, abusing the alcohol is also against the rules. While living in the hotel, all patients must abide to a set of rules these rules bar the inhabitants from using any drugs, weapons, or engaging in profanity or sexual activities. All of the hotel's patients and staff are also given a handsome weekly allowance, provided they actually work to improve themselves or at least help around the hotel. The hotel provides all who check in with free housing, protection from Hell's hazards and threats, free medical services, and free food. However, shortly after Alastor was enlisted to help run the hotel, the Radio Demon revitalized the establishment using his reality-warping powers, and hired Niffty as the housekeeper, the hotel took on a far much livelier and respectable appearance. ![]() Due to the building being long abandoned, the exterior and interior initially suffered from untidiness, with numerous cobwebs, a dilapidated stature, items left from squatters, and apparently suffering from a rat infestation. The Hazbin Hotel was originally a vacation house named the Poison Apple, and belonged to the royal Magne family, before it was abandoned due to its close proximity to Hell's sinner population and thus allowed to fall into a state of extreme disrepair.
